Shipping Policy

At SCOOTER BROTHERS ENTERPRISES, LLC, we are committed to delivering your e-bike safely and efficiently. Due to the size of our products and the nature of high-capacity Lithium-Ion batteries, we adhere to the following shipping guidelines.

1. Shipping Destination (USA Only)

We ship exclusively to the 48 contiguous United States.

  • Excluded Regions: We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or any international addresses.

  • P.O. Boxes: We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or military addresses due to freight carrier requirements and the size of the packages.

2. Processing and Shipping Times

  • Order Processing: Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 2–5 business days.

  • Transit Time: Once picked up by the carrier, transit times usually range from 3–10 business days, depending on your distance from our Florida distribution center.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order has been dispatched.

3. Shipping Method & Carrier

  • Freight Delivery: Most e-bikes are shipped via specialized LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carriers to ensure they remain upright and protected during transit.

  • Battery Safety: All shipments comply with UN3481 regulations (Lithium-Ion batteries contained in equipment). In accordance with 2026 DOT/IATA standards, batteries are shipped at a 30% State of Charge (SoC) for maximum safety.

     

4. Delivery Procedures

  • Signature Required: For your protection and due to the high value of the shipment, an Adult Signature (18+) is required upon delivery.

  • Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier will contact you via the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery window. Please ensure your contact information is accurate.

5. Inspection Upon Delivery

IMPORTANT: You must inspect the package before the driver leaves.

  • If the box shows significant signs of damage (crushed, punctured, or torn), please refuse the delivery or ensure the driver notes "Damaged" on the Bill of Lading (BOL).

  • Contact us at (352) 628-3686 within 24 hours of a damaged delivery so we can initiate a claim with the carrier.

6. Shipping Costs

  • Flat Rate/Free Shipping: Any promotional "Free Shipping" offers apply only to the 48 contiguous states.

  • Change of Address: If you request an address change after the item has been dispatched, a rerouting fee (charged by the carrier) may apply.

7. Battery Handling Notice

Lithium-Ion batteries are classified as Class 9 Hazardous Materials. If you ever need to ship your battery separately for service or a return, you must use a certified hazardous materials shipper and UN-certified packaging. Unauthorized shipping of batteries can result in significant federal fines.
